Why Digital Assisted Learning

Edumoca founders are passionate about education and its transformational impact on multiple generations. We believe that an educated child has the potential to cut across language, economic, religious, geographic barriers to seek gainful employment any where in today’s connected world.

For many decades, the traditional educational text books and content was boring, too dimensional and lacked proper context. Imagine teaching a child about tiger with an image and couple of sentences versus a rich audio and video showing how a tiger looks, moves, hunts etc.

We believe such enhanced learning will have a lasting impact on the child. Similarly, memorizing and reproducing a Pythagorean theorem versus how it was applied in conjunction with trigonometry and algebra to build great pyramids will greatly enhance learning. Or showing a video of the classic chemical reaction between an acid and a carbonate via an erupting volcano experiment. With billions of connected devices, and ever expanding digital connectivity, we believe that education should leverage these great leaps in technology to enhance learning.

Digital Assisted Learning should be embraced by all educational institutions to enrich the content and elevate the quality of learning.
We at Edumoca, recognize that learning is done in many ways. Accordingly, we designed the platform to accommodate blended teaching methods - using a combination of distance, digital, tv/radio and paper learning - while still reducing touch points.
DAL addresses the learning needs of all kinds of students taking into consideration their access to device and connectivity, or lack there of.
